SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!

Well i am officially blown away! She is simply the best car i have ever driven, quiet, soooo responsive even at top geras, just put your foot on the gas and away she goes like a bullet!! I parked in supermarket, right away at the edge of the car park and shamelessly parked in the middle of two spaces to avoid the dreaded trolly dents etc and as i walked away 3 different people walked over to have a closer look!! Then when i got back, someone had parked next to me!! Just then the sun came out and wow, she looked like a night sky covered in stars!! the metallic black is awesome. On the way home 3 people gave way to me even though it was their right of way! Left her on my drive and people stopped to have a look at her. Oh forgot to say, took the chance to prove to audi driver just what she could do, think he was a bit shocked!! Let's jsut say he was a speck in my rear view mirror!!!

Personaly i think Auto Glym are up there with the best of them, you will have others telling you about more expensive and exotic products, which are very good, but i cannot find a single fault with any of the AG products.

I do use DoDo wax as a top up protection on top of my GardX paint protection/ sealer that the dealer applied, other than that i always use Auto Glym super resin polish, as it does not cut into the paint.

On black the Ultra deep shine is very good, as it doesnt show up any swirls, which can be a pain on darker colours.

For washing i use Maquires Ultra wash, its the yellow liquid and costs around £16 but lasts ages as it is very concentrated, also no water marks with it.

I DONT use any cleaners on the wheels only the Maguires shampoo, then i use Auot Glyms alloy wheel shine and protector. Its easy to apply and buff off, and helps stop brake dust getting to bad.

Personaly i would stick with the Auto Glym range.

It isnt always the most expensive products that are the best.

being an avid amateur detailer for a few decades i can state that super resin polish rules and gives a nice base coat for the best value for money wax you can buy is Autoglym Hi-def wax amazing kit and can be had for £25 from an ebay store maguires kit is real poor value for money and are very over priced but there emicrofibre cloths are good, you will find thats most cars have a good few swirl marks on them even before you take ownership of it dealers dont give a shit about paint condition,my rcz has a large scar like mark about 12" long on the roof across just above the windscreen where they have butchered the roof trying to peel the protective cover off,if i owned this car i would have not accepted this car with this mark on it even autoglym paint renovator wont demish it to any degree, which say's it all

i agree jactac, i like autoglym and already have the high def wax and ultra deep shine, used it on all my previous cars. It is a shame though that dealers let staff ruin the new cars finish before they ever leave the showroom, sacrilige!!! They should try using the right cloths for a start and be trained on how to apply products, suppose that is too much to ask!!

I don't condone the condition some cars are let out of dealerships but as jassyo06 has already said, it's almost inevitable that cars do come out with swirls. It's all down to the limited time valeters are allotted to clean the cars. Those of us who are into detailing our cars in a serious way, know how long it takes to make sure that our pride and joys are looking their best. Valeter's do not have that luxury I'm afraid. I found that out to my cost when I had a Paint Protection applied to my last car. Swirls, water marks, etc, etc all sealed over - so I removed it and gave my car the preparation and protection it really deserved.

Jassyo06 have you tried any other cutting polishes on your scratch?

You're not the first and I'm sure you won't be the last to say that :D people think it's male dominated speciality but there are a few females out there who enjoy looking after their cars just as much as men do. Some men can find it difficult to comprehend ( chauvinistically or otherwise - who knows :eusa-think:) but the majority are very complimentary
