Jassy which leasing company do you use? I ask as my sister is looking to change her BMW 1 convertible for the Merc SLK and mentioned she is looking to lease it.

Centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk its a 2 year 10,000 miles per annum i think the non auto is £279 the tip auto is £289 both with 6 months advance rental as a deposit

Nice one, glad for you on the job part. I know what that is like.

Merc looks sweet but you need to ditch that star :)

As for Ferrari Rizz, again, I have been lucky enough to have driven most models past and present, they are fantastic to drive, but ownership is a different cuttle of fish. Best suited to the person that has bottomless pockets. You would not believe some of the service bills.

 snowy's employers: it's true...we held him captive but he has a nice beard now.

I guess that if you can afford the car, your not too worried about the cost of parts services etc. one day I'll find out (...probably because someone else will tell me :( )

Is that "AMG-sport" thingy not just a bit the looks of an AMG? As the M-pack is just a M-look for a bmw.

Than it's basicly a regular SLK with some AMG badges.

Yes it basically slk with amg kit on it  Just like the rcz is a 308 with a rcz shell over the top :eusa-think: go Figure merc or Pug/citroen :eusa-whistle:

I don't say it's a bad thing. It's just an AMG-look car.

Yes most AMG versions do look better then the "boring" merc designs. :eusa-shhh:

:D

Yes i do believe that to an extent ie a cars a car ie i wouldnt pay no more money than i am just now for any car as quality of life is more important than any car but i look foward to this car as i never would have thought getting such a car would be within my grasp at such a reasonable price lease or not SIMPLES :)

I agree. Always liked the SLK and at this price it's a bargain. I'm not sure that it's the drivers car you crave though Jassy. Having read some reviews it does say that it's not that smooth and that you need a the bigger engines to get the most out of it. Surely tempted
myself if the time was right :)

I can understand you went for this deal as it looks amazing, but the price you have quoted is for a base car though?, which doesnt include xenons (not an option on this car) command or metallic paint?
Lots of extra's are missing like memory and heated seats, airscarf, rain sensing wipers etc.
You need to add the super cool option of the roof opening on a button on the remote?
This is the base model with a body kit.
The SLK competes in a different group with the likes of the Boxer and Z4 and comes out well behind, the engine is very noisy, you should really test drive one if you havent already?
Running costs are much higher 2 x services in your 2 years of ownership.
