Access to Speaker panels

Hi,

I've just got myself a year old RCZ HDi GT and all is good. :)
I just wondered if any of you guys has any info on gaining access to the speaker panels both front and rear, I have some rather good DB Audio Trex 6.1 (165mm) from my old Leon that I would like to fit?

Cheers

Chris

I believe that like most modern cars the rear of the door card acts as weather seal, ie: they are sealed and designed to stop ingress of water that gets into the inside chamber of the door and help to drain away this water.

I would be cautious of just removing a door card, then thinking they just pop back on :eusa-think:

I changed the front door speakers on a Megan once and had constant water leaks afterwards, It had to go to a dealers in the end to have the door cards correctly re-sealed.

YIP door cards have to come off i watched this process whilst getting my front windows tinted and with 2 tools/levers its easily done to get them off to access the speakers. Prise them off from the top edge of door just above the outside door handle then work your way down to the bottom of the door they will fall off to a extent that you be able to access the speakers

Removing to door cards is easy once you have seen it done. If not it's a nerves-wrecking job...

So, thanks for the photos
