Just bought a 60 plate Charcoal Grey 1.6 Auto from Snows of Romsey. Collect Saturday.

This post isn't about the car - it's about the garage. For various reasons I can highly recommend them but their customer service is exceptional. They really do care about their customers. And also, their coffee is great!

Back to the car: it is shortly going to be wrapped by Sean of Monsterwraps, Southampton. I'l post pictures when its done.

Good to meet you, peeps. May we have a long and happy relationship :D

Hi and welcome

Congratulations to another South Coast RCZ owner.

I'm based in Fareham, there are several of us down here along the coast.

Looking forward to seeing the snaps from the wrap party :D

I think it's up here in Yorkshire we could do with the protection of a vinyl wrap, you lot have been sunbathing recently down there haven't you?

Anyone know if RCZ Performance does a snowplow front end for the Z? :wtf:

Soon with the number of RCZ I see on the road now between Southampton and Portsmouth we will have enough to have a meet up like the guys up north do.
I don't think there's a day goes by when I home from sea, I don't see a RCZ on the road, sometimes two per day.
There does seem to be a number around Eastleigh, including mine.
Just in the next street from my girlfriend a new RCZ has turned up.

Hard to believe back in 2010 I was the first in Hampshire to get an RCZ, you all copied me !

Hi Merchant seaman, long time no hear.

Tianorth has tried a few times to arrange a "Southern" meet but unfortunately little interest was shown

Hi Ken :)

I've been away alot and busy with other things, still been popping in and out of the forum from time to time.
I did see a couple of meets planned, think the last one was at Portsdown Hill ? I was away for that one so would of missed it anyway.

I see you have changed your Z and a nice choice too, I went down to Hamble motors 3 weeks back and they said you had a new one, did you place an order for that white one they have in the show room and then changed your mind to the red ?

I am thinking of doing the same, was looking at the R but for what you get or should I say don't get I don't think it's worth the money for an extra 70 bhp.

Will look out for you when I'm home in 2 weeks time, haven't seen any red ones like yours around Southampton, mostly white the odd blue and black ones.

There is an estate agent in Eastleigh called Stanfords, who have 3 RCZ's as company cars, they have been done out in their colour scheme, which is green and white, and I must admit they do look nice, racing colours, very eye catching.

Small point mate - its not just about the engine with the 'R'
I know I am biased but ................... drive one before you make that call.

Peace.

Someone needs to grab a shot of these company cars!!

I will take a picture of one next time I'm home, I have been meaning to take one and post it, but then thought why should they have free advertising being estate agents ! but they do look good

Yeah, go for it.
I would not worry about the publicity. People don't come to this sites looking to buy houses after all.
As I live in the Midlands they ain't getting my business anyway :D

Its only fair to warn you I was originally in the market for a GT200, then I drove an 'R'. Shortly afterwards things got expensive.
