Hi all,

Not been about much as been kinda busy.

I received a letter from my local AD today telling me I can go to them for a Superchip Re-Map.

Would take my 200 to 228bhp. £455 inc VAT

Anyone else get this?

I knew a Seat dealer that did this, and it was without Seat knowing :eusa-shhh:
Sounds exactly the same and i would be shocked if pug knew,Remap = no warranty

Hiya

I agree about the 6 Jassy, really looks good in White....but after me experience with my last 645, I'd be forever expecting it to break down....and as for the fuel....

My dealer is part of the KAP Group. Don't suppose they would be so foolish as to do something like this without Peugeot giving the go ahead.

Not planning on doing it anyhow.

I'm really surprised that a dealer is offering this anyway. Chipping a car almost always creates an irregular wear on parts and, therefore, would result in them having to replace parts early (if indeed they guarantee your warranty after the modification).

As for the 6 series, it is a smart motor but by the time you add a bunch of options to the M sport version you're looking at 86 grand. That wouldn't be my first choice if I was spending that kind of money.

Spoke to superchips today and it's the same as the seat dealer they said pug don't know :eusa-shhh:
Its up to the dealer themselves to look after you if anything goes wrong also superchips offer their own warranty

Smiler,

I'm a little surprised! KAP must be mad!

I work with pistonheads and they all agree that Superchips are not the greatest at what they do/provide.

I wonder if KAP then cover the car under their own policy?? Just for fun I might go and speak to the service manager and ask about it.

Intriguing.

Will be interested to hear the outcome of that conversation!
