7 MONTH WAITING LIST .......???

Took my RCZ in for Recall Check on Fuel line, & while waiting I got talking to the salesman I ordered my car with. He said that there is now a 7 month wait on new orders of RCZ's with Sat Navs.

Has anyone else heard this, or experiencing this very long delay???

Can only think the sales exec is mistaken for the following reason:

Supply Bulletin 185 issued by Peugeot UK on 11/3/11 states that:

RCZ with no factory options : March Build
RCZ requiring factory options : April Build

There is no mention of or reference to any delays for the sat nav option whatsoever.

The last specific RCZ focus bulletin on 18/2/11 was listing RCZ's requiring sat nav option as March build.

Thanks RCZGT200. It would'nt affect us personally, but I was concerned for anybody else thinking of ordering now, if it was correct. You are probably right, as it would appear that this more than likely is'nt the 1st bit of duff info we have been given. False info is absolutely pointless & senseless really, & achieves nothing more than to irritate me!

I did have a bit of a bum cheek sqeeze to be honest, but Marcus has confirmed my order, so it's back to chopping down the tree on the drive to make room. :dance:

I was quoted 5/6 weeks from last saturday, and have been updated by dealer that this is still ongoing for that date.

I ordered mine end of Feb, a CAF number was asigned to and the car is scheduled to be built on the 24/03/2011.
Were expecting the car to hit british soil 6/4/2011 it will take about a week to get to us once its in the country so we are looking good for a delivery week commencing the 11th (as the salesman said.)

He did say it woudl take 6 to 8 weeks. Unless I wanted a Black one as there is plenty in the country, which put me off thinking there could be loads driving around.

a colleague of mine has ordered an RCZ and has been told 13 weeks wait. he ordered it on monday.
