In the rear it fits.

In front, it depends on the size of your brake calipers.

Thanks a lot I appreciate the info. Will it fit in the wheel well in the boot? As long as I have a spare in the car I'll be happy even if I have to change the front to the back to keep me motoring!

Yep no problems just remove the foam bit and leaves room for cleaning products

thanks for the quick reply. just wanna double check. the spacesaver wheel is 17inch and tyre size is 135/80/17. my alloys are 18 inch. will it definatley work ok with the 18 inch alloys on my car? thanks.

I got a 215/55/r17 steel wheel 5 stud from scrapyard off a peugeot. It fits just perfect in the well.
