308gti Discs and pads poss fit RCZ R ?

Hi, just a quick heads up on an advert I came across on Gumtree (not mine).
Thought it might be of interest to some one if they fancy seeing if the 308gti Alcon brakes fit the RCZ R.

Strange how the right hand disc is a different price to the left hand on the receipt :crazy:

Could possibly be a pair that have been changed under warranty due to problems with squealing. Don’t think I would be buying second hand discs. :eusa-think:

Did the 308gti suffer from squealing too? I would have thought Peugeot and Alcon would have learnt what went wrong by now.

It’s been said that specialist brakes like these do tend to squeal and I would have thought at £1600 a throw they can afford to swap a few! :crazy:

You may be right. Was the fix a change in pad material? Would be nice to know if the discs are the same dimensions though :crazy:

Yeah these look like the same brakes on my GTi but buying second hand brake discs should come with a word of warning.
My brakes went through a period where they squealed first thing in the morning or After heavy rain. They stopped squealing a few months ago so it’s no longer an issue. Squealing Alcons has been well documented on here!
