2nd European RCZ Meeting Zeeland 21/05/2017

This meeting was organized for the first time in May of this year. Due to bad weather "only" 73 of the 100 confirmed participants showed up. That day there were RCZ's present from 8 different countries (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Germany, England, Sweden and Italy).

Despite the weather it was a very great success and for the Second Edition, we would like to reach the magic number of 100 RCZ's. However, this will not succeed without your participation, so therefore note this date in your calendar and make sure you're there so you join us and help us to reach this magical number

Ones again we will travel in ONE BIG CONVOY and I a have made a road trip which starts in Bergen-op-Zoom over Zierikzee to end on the Brouwersdam : 130km with different stops

Two more confirmations we are now with 45 RCZ's.

Next year I will organise two meetings, one is the "Zeeland" meeting and the other one is the road trip in Austria.
That one is already fully booked, so if you want to join a big RCZ meeting you will have to join the one in Zeeland.

The route we will follow is not finished yet but we will add new parts. If some I have enoug participants it will maybe become a two day's event.

We have exceeded the milestone of 50 RCZ's. Currently, we are 54 RCZ's from 7 different countries.
This year Sweden is represented by Lennart Lundgren. Until now we have no RCZ's from the UK, this year we had 5 RCZ's.

We are still far away from the 73 RCZ's who took part in the first edition and further still of the magic number "100". So join us and make it together with us a memorable day.

This weekend I started the preparations for our meeting. The start of the meeting is again at the Strandhuys on the Boulevard (http://hetstrandhuys.nu/). I sat together with Frank te owner and he wants to cooperate again.

I also this morning had a meeting at the City Park Fletcher Hotel in Bergen-op-Zoom (http://www.fletcherstadsparkhotel.nl/). This time they will also make a special price for the participants of the RCZ meeting. The concert "Back to the Nineties" is the week before the meeting and thus will not cause noise during the night. Breakfast will also be served sooner, already from 7.30 am.

The route for the Zeeland meeting also gets a face lift. Today we tested the first part of Bergen-op-zoom to Zierikzee and it's is approved

The arrival in Zierikzee was also modified, with a short drive through the historic centre of Zierikzee.

For the moment we are with 67 RCZ's :dance:

THE DAY BEFORE

A lot of the participants of the Zeeland meeting arrive the day before the meeting. So they are already present from Saturday in the near Bergen-op-Zoom. Therefore, a "Meet, great & eat" will be organized. We first gather in front of "Het Strandhuys" and drive in group to the "Bowling Resto & Lounge" where we go bowling and have a tasty dinner. This event is only for participants of the Zeeland meeting.
