2014........ Let's see a big improvement !

2013 was not the best year for many of our forum members, in one way or another. There were lots of trials and tribulations so let's hope 2014 promises much more for each and every one of us.

All the best to every one of our members for 2014 and whatever your plans for New Years Eve, enjoy and most of all, stay safe.

Amen to that :clap: New years eve will be spent doing my hobby. Well, you can't call it a job, as that implies financial remuneration as opposed to me subsidising them. Followed by a quiet evening in with a bottle of Red. I suspect the New Year will be spent looking for a paying job as my "fixed term" contract expires on the 10th January and there is not a chance of me taking it on as a franchisee, as was the initial idea.

Not a big fan of this time of year as it can magnify life's personal difficulties for a lot people but here's to 2014 as Rcz1 says no doubt l will be slightly inebriated by ding dong time but l wish all members and friends maybe l am being optimistic when l put s letter after the word friend on this forum.... lo but l wish everyone the best for 2014

Well for me and my family 2013 was a right old bummer, and I know it has been the same for other members :thumbdown:

Not going out anywhere tonight, just stay in with Mrs H and ponder over the last few months, like Jass says, times like this can be a difficult for many people.

But as Del Boy would say, "This Time Next Year We Will Be Millionaires", ok perhaps not, but the message is, be positive :thumbup:

So Happy New Year to everyone & A Happy Hogmanay to our Scots buddies, have a safe night tonight if your out and about.

Hope 2014 will be better than 2013 for all of us we shall spending it with friends & also will be letting a rocket off for our son @ midnight who we lost 5yrs ago, so guys whatever you are up to all the best for the forth coming year & lets get some good weather to get these RCZ's out :beer:

Wonderfully heartfelt and thought provoking messages!! It has certainly been a rollercoaster of a year for many of the wonderful people on this, THE best, forum on tinternet!! I dearly hope that 2014 brings each and every one of you/us good health, happiness and good fortune both for yourselves and all your loved ones! :thumbup: Hopefully this will be a year of dreams and ambitions being realised and fulfilled for us all.

On a personal level, thank you so much to each and every one of you for your messages of support and encouragement during my period of ill health earlier this year. It meant more to me than you probably realise. My thoughts and positive vibes are with a few members on here who are quietly trying to overcome personal challenges in their own lives. You know who you are.

Thank you also to all of you for all your input, suggestions and support on the forum. It is YOU that makes it the wonderful place that it is!! :thumbup:

Well the New Year started with the best bash I've ever been to, Simple Minds (who I'm no real fan of) at the square in Stonehaven. They were absolutely superb.
