Nice car

Loving the touch screen conversion, did you do that yourself?

I did!, Took a while to find the right conversion leads, but have maintained all parking sensors, stalk controls and car menu access.

Looks very much OEM, but obviously 100x better than the OEM navigation.

I'm biased, but I think this the rcz is the best looking sub 20k car on the road

Hi Spot, looks like a well-cared for car and at that comparatively low mileage I don`t think it will hang about too long.

What I am particularly interested in is the double din installation which looks like the installation could have been factory fitted. Would be really like to know which unit you fitted, and the connect cables. As you say all the functions are as before, that`s brilliant.

Just one last question to ask, how do you rate the sound quality against the original? :greetings-wavingblue:

Hey Nicpy.

The unit fitted is a Pioneer SPH-DA120 (around £320), I chose this for its complete flat screen and non obtrusive buttons, attempting to keep the center console uncluttered. you can also customise the power on screen (pugeout logo in my case) an background image to blend beter, there is also a myriad of colour schemes so you can adjust the touch buttons to match Pug-orange

The cage and surround is a Connects2 CT23PE09 (£60) which maintains the 'black sparkle' effect of the existing trim

The conversion lead (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peugeot-RCZ-2 ... 0753918021) (£100) will maintain forward/reverse parking sensors with audible beeps, full stalk control and the ability to control the OBC settings.

depending on your headunit, you may need the additional arial converter, which is a tenner from Hellfruads

Pretty straightforward to fit, although if you do fit a headunit like the above, you will have to fish around the dash to fit the GPS module and Microphone.

as for the speakers.....for me, the stock door card speakers and 6x9's in the back are more than enough, but obviously good pre-amped speakers will always sound superior - luckily the Pioneer has a huge selecton of speaker settings, so you can get the best out of whats already there, unlike the OEM unit, which is utter garbage

hope this helps

If I didn't have the flip up sat nav, I would be falling over myself to do that conversion. I think it looks awesome. You have done a fantastic job there, and I also think your car will be on its way very shortly
