2013 156 Timing Chain

I was looking at replacement chain options and before doing so I wonder if I am missing a part?!
Looking at an old photo of my engine I can see a top bracket for/as the chain guide but not the plastic piece as shown on replacements…and my bracket looks like it has two slots to clip in a plastic guide.
Any clarification would be appreciated.

Yes, the complete top plastic guide is missing, its dark brown in colour you will probably find bits of the guide stuck down by the chain, or guide rails or in the sump, if you are lucky you may find all the plastic pieces
