So, OH away for two days........ Do I get dancing girls round?........do I go on a lads trip to Blackpool?.......do I organise an intense Poker session?, :eusa-think:

NO I spend 2 days cleaning the Z

Hello, my name is Pete, and I'm a Z-Aholic :eusa-whistle:

So, started with a jet wash rinse, then G3 body prep shampoo. Dried it with an autoglym microfibre drying cloth. Then Rain X glass cleaner & Rain X Rain Repellant.
Then autoglym alloy wheel seal and Meguiars hot shine tire spray. Then surface detailing clay bar with autoglym rapid detailed.b buffed off with autoglym microfibre buffing cloth.
Then using microfibre pads, applied Mer ultimate polish & buffed off. Then two coats of Mer deep gloss finishing wax.
Auto smart topaz on all plastic parts. Then Gummi Pflege Stift on all rubber seals.
Simoniz Chrome Cleaner on exhaust trim.

Finally after hand buffing with microfibre cloths, machine buffed with Hilka car polisher. :sleeping-yellow:

Topped up Coolant with Halfords Oat Anti-Freeze & Coolant, added Red X to petrol, topped washers up with Halfords -20 degrees Berry scented Screen Wash & checked Oil & Brake fluid.

So this afternoon I can start inside..... Wheelers Leather Cleaning Spray & Wheelers Natural Beeswax Leather Balm. Car Plan Flash Dash, & Rain X glass cleaner on inside of all glass. (Cleans & stops fogging).
Finally a good vacuuming & light spray on carpets with Fabreeze Vanilla.

Life is so much better with a nice clean Z :D

And then of course, I can look forward to doing it all again as soon as it gets dirty

I feel like that dog after just reading that so God only knows how you feel...

Good job. Look at that sad and envious looking TT over the road though!

Looks great ... I'm amazed you got two dry days to do it all... !

What's that you've got plugged into the 12v outlet? First glance it looks like a high \ low gear range selecter ;)

Yeah, went for the full 4WD conversion with free wheeling hubs, auto descent control, 4WD/FWD/RWD selector, the lot, that's the gear ratio selector

:wtf: OK, so actually it's an ioniser

It's the same kind of thing you can get for the house, ionises particles in the air, makes it feel fresher & helps illiminate dust & window film (he says glancing at the promo blurb).

I'll give it a few weeks & if I don't notice anything different it's on EBay

I once built a DIY ioniser that lived at the bed side.

It certainly helped with sleeping and made the air fresher.

No point having a flux capacitor, you have to do exactly 88 miles an hour for them to work, and I NEVER go THAT slow :eusa-whistle:
