ask yourself what do you need them to do?? i.e. long journeys, short journeys.....

The diesel engine is regarded as more bulletproof as there doesn't seem to be teething problems.

There are a few issues which are fixable with the petrol engines possibly with the timing chain, but saying that the newer ones should have the upgraded guides etc.
As I said they are all fixable.

I have the diesel RCZ and also the petrol RCZ-R.

The diesels are as you would expect is economical but also very nippy when you want it to be, saying that so are the petrols.
The road tax is lower on the diesel, £130.
Not sure for the petrols but the RCZ-R is lower the other rcz's @£145.
