Yeah, you really would.
I freely admit to being a complete noob with these cars - I've owned mine all of two weeks. But the list of absolutely brainless electrical stupidity that could have been improved with a simple software upgrade would fill a book. The two that grind my gears the most...
Every other car I've had, has had an option to automatically close the windows if you have them open when you lock the car. I can't see any way to do it on the RCZ, and I can't find any reference to it in the manual.
Am I being dumb and missing something, or is this functionality just not...
I bet you have a flushing toilet in your house and use one of those newfangled "cellular telephones" too don't you, you flash bastard. I'll stick to my horse and dray thanks very much mumble mumble schimf schimf.
But yeah, to answer @lfe 's suggestion...I had a talk to a locksmith yesterday and...
I really hate carting around bulky keyfobs.
I far prefer simply having a dumb but much slimmer key on my keyring, even if that means sacrificing some functionality. I'm going to be getting into the bloody thing after all so it's really no advantage to me to be able to unlock it from three...
Yeah I am, I quite like the two tone thing. Plus I've had dead black cars before and while they do look great when clean, if they even get a tiny bit grubby they look awful.

Shame it’s not heated

*Laughs in Antipodean* Where I live we get a frost maybe once a year...heated seats and winter tyres are not that much of a priority...
Yeah I hasten to add that the fluffy dice belonged to the previous owner, that shot is from his advert for the car. The dice now languish in a cardboard box along with the other stuff that was left in the car when I picked it up.
Seats...you've hit on what I think is the weak point of this car...
Half leather I think if that was an option?
Sides of the seats are leather, centre panels are some sort of cloth. They're neither heated not electrically adjustable, I've seen reference to both things and these are neither.
Thanks folks, that's exactly the sort of advice I'm looking for.
Any other ideas from anyone else? Any preventative stuff I need to be thinking about that's not engine and drivetrain related?
OK, so I'd like to get some advice from folks who know these cars better than I do (and I know pretty much nothing.)
I've just bought a 2013 HDi Sport with a manual trans. It was first registered in Ireland and was imported to New Zealand by its original owner when he emigrated a few years...
