    The in car display says the temperature is low. If the car is standing still on idle it will boil over but display is still low to normal temperature? Does the Ecu control the fan from the same sensor that displays the temperature? Or could it be the location of the sensor and the water pump...

    Running cold when in car heater is on

    In previous cars that would be my first but this has the clutched coolant pump but don’t realy know what parameter controls the clutch on it?? I will have a look at the thermostat first if it’s easy to get to👍🏻

    Just noticed that when the ac heating is on the car is running around 50degrees and does not warm up until heating is turned off.

    Loss of vacuum

    Thank you. It’s the 1.6 petrol. It was just the vacuum pump which was easy to replace myself. The bottom bolt had a stripped thread which was easily replaced with a longer bolt with a nut on the end. A bit tricky to get the nut on but once started easy hold hold still with a spanner👍🏻

    Loss of vacuum

    A sudden loss of vacuum has caused brake failure. There is no vacuum being pulled on the pump but I haven’t yet got to the second pipe under the pump to see if it is the culprit and not the pump. I take it the second pipe is for the turbo waste gate valve? Any tips would be appreciated because...
