no, none at all, all the steering wheel controls work as they always did, no crashes no problem with connection, nothing. The only thing that you may have to do in the car settings menu is to allow it to use your existing display. That way, settings and displays that you would normally change on...

Latest addition, carbon wrapped bonnet. I did attempt it myself twice and each time the weather changed and screwed it up for me. In the end I took it to a professional 😂

Yeah it isn’t flush with the a/c unit but, in my opinion, doesn’t look too “aftermarket”. As you look from the front it follows the existing lines quite nicely and doesn’t stick out so far as to look like it shouldn’t be there. 👍

Sorry, are you talking about the head unit?

Not sure of the make but it’s an android unit that was fairly straightforward to fit. Does everything I need it to and, aside from a couple of cuts, is a direct replacement

It’s the maxton design one but you need the maxton rear winglets as well. Once the winglets are on you’re supposed to only need a self tapping screw on each end and the 3M tape that comes pre-fitted to the vertical strakes. I wasn’t confident that that would hold so ended fitting a pair of...

Couldn’t honestly tell you as the badges had already been changed when I bought it. I tried a couple of different ways of wrapping the chrome surround for the front badge none of which were particularly successful. I ended up cutting out the shape of the badge from a piece of carbon wrap and...

I ended up fitting extra brackets as having spoken to the guys at Maxton they seem to think it stays on with two bolts through the rear winglets and the 3M tape on the 3 vertical pieces. I wasn’t convinced so added a bit of extra protection

Finally finished fitting the rear diffuser following my trip to Tony Banks in Leeds for my new funky quad exhaust. I am a very happy camper and pleased to report that all wheels are still exactly where they’re supposed to be 😜

A question for the older members of this forum

I would definitely recommend this stuff It is more expensive than some but the colour match is perfect. Mine is a ktv colour code so is a pearl black. I repaired a deep scratch on a door and after a machine polish, you wouldn’t know it was there. No, I’m not on commission 😂

That’s probably a fair point if you are running standard rims with the standard offset as you would be widening the track and creating extra leverage. Mine are not standard rims, the spacer is simply there to artificially make the offsets the same. In theory, the track is no wider so there...

A good point. The solution was far more simple, I took it to a different garage and asked them to double check the balance. One wheel was way off so they re-balanced them and the problem has disappeared 👍

It was already mapped when I bought it unfortunately so I’ve got nothing to compare it against. Good amount of pull though as the torque is up to 400nm.

Picking up my 2014 RCZ 2.0diesel

I think the 2.0hdi is classed as pretty much bullet proof. Cambelt is recommended every 10 years or 110,000. I've recently bought a 2012 Hdi with just over 90k on the clock so decided to get a full service, cambelt and waterpump at my local trusted garage. Just over £500 all in but worth it for...

Hi all This is my RCZ, its a 2012 Hdi model with the stage 1 map. I've done a few bits since I've owned it. The priority was a full service, cambelt and waterpump change. I then added a touch screen multimedia headunit, a little bit of carbon wrap, changed the wheel colour to candy apple red...
