Well after three and a half years of trouble free motoring ime trading in the zed ,gone from one extreme to another as i pick up a meteor grey octavia vrs estate in the morning ,proper flying wagon it is 220 bhp petrol and a nice place to sit in and lots of good kit inside sat nav dab adaptive...

Did a reset this morn and its been ok today so we shall see but I did notice eco mode came in very quick after reset so I wonder if my battery is starting on its way out and causing this issue ,being as these cars are so reliant on a tip top battery

Dont think its that tianorth no issues with things getting hot ,stereos not worked correct last two morns and car has been frozen over ,but got in car this morn and everything worked champion thats why ime at a bit of a loss its very intermittent ,but it does your head in when things should work...

Yeah ive got a manual but no clues as to why one day source button works and the next it doesnt :evil:

Yeah stereo went off as did clock display but when fuse replaced stereo had kept all its presets etc so I dont think think its resetting it

Cheers dk will try that this weekend see if it helps ,nowt worse than silly intermittent faults

Tried pulling the fuse out but it does not reset or clear the srereo it must back itself up direct from battery ,so I will disconnect batt this weekend and see if that helps any

Quick one guys does anyone know which is the radio fuse damm thing not working again so gunner pull fuse as there does not seem to be a way to reset the srereo unit itself and only the radio is working and nothing else

Well ive just gone to car to have another fiddle and noticed bluetooth had connected so tried everything else and its all fine again ,so god knows what had gone wrong so all good again ,gremlins to blame but thanks for help guys
