Yeh just had my tensioner and timing kit replaced unfortunately not under warranty cost £500 all in at my local Peugeot dealer not as scary a price as I was expecting now done my car has never sounded so sweet! Peugeot have re designed the parts to cure the problem. :beer:

Called at dealers this morning and spoke to mechanic who repaird my car he says only the recommended 5w-30 oil was used and hasn't heard of anyone advising 5w-60. And it's the first figure that is the cold temp working point so lower the number the better on cold start up where this problem...

Having a Launch Edition with the carbon extras I'd be up for any extras in genuine carbon. Rear valance possibly a carbon spoiler? Or a skin that could cover the original. Centre console cover is a must!

Had my Launch edition for 3 weeks now and absolutely love this car but this morning the wife started it up from cold whilst I was outside the car and the engine sounded like a diesel very rattley this took a couple of minutes to quieten down the car runs great and the engine runs smooth the cars...

Yeh good idea I'm in touch with my local dealer who's going to look into it for me. Once I find out which number it is I'll have something made up to stick on her.
