To be fair you could use the fault as a bargaining tool, especially when it's done 125k miles. It's all relative, if you're a mechanic with access to the right gear, it could be a cheap fix. But what price would you expect to see for a car with that mileage and age. Not much more is my guess...

Dare I say it .... I'd love to put a more powerful engine in it, or if a v6 merc would fit, slip one of those in. Even change the drive to rear wheel. Yeah I know - wake up ! one day, one day.

Firstly though not easy to do, people do change parts but all of these were available as options, which like you say bring it to GT spec. The best option in my opinion would be the Xenons - easily depicted by having the headlamp washer, because all xenons must come with washers by law? Leather...

It is worth noting that tyre pressure sensors batteries are supposed to last only 5 years. If you have low voltage on the sensors, this could affect sensitivity. Just a thought. Cheers M.. :beer:
