The valves and sensors will have to be removed and new valves fitted after the refurb it’s false economy to use the old rubber valves as they invariably leak once they’ve been pulled from the alloy 👍

Any smoking from exhaust after being left to tick over for a while or after being stood at traffic lights? A common issue is valve stem oil seals letting oil by this would lead to excessive oil consumption.

Aftermarket sensors are relatively cheap now and do work ok if you have a MK1 car the new sensors have to be programmed to the car MK2 are plug and play 👍

I think you get to em by removing the wheel arch liner not actually done it I bought some led fog bulbs too but not got round to fitting them.

As Verminator says best to paint but vinyl wrap is a decent alternative and probably not much cheaper than paint.

Gullwing too 😮 did you fo the conversion or previous owner? I’ve heard many horror stories of them catching the wings and no fitting properly?

How can they quote you between £1500 and £2000 if they don’t know what damage has been caused? Sounds fishy to me be very wary of garages that throw figures like that about before actually doing anything 🤷‍♂️

I believe you can just leave the sensor unplugged just tape it up and some of those aftermarket hoses come with a steel insert to connect the hose up.

You just need a plastic trim removal tool or if your really careful not to scratch anything a small flat blade screwdriver and prise out the whole switch panel

I think what they’ve supplied is a MK 2 washer cover but I’m sure for the MK1 they’re £99 a pair not each

As previously mentioned only the R model has red front callipers from factory any car that has the “Black pack” option has black powder coated callipers 👍
