What I do is dry carefully the end of the dipstick with kitchen paper, so that it doesn't look wet or shiny, then I put it in slowly, I give it a complete turn and when I take it out it the level looks usually well marked. Much better with a completely cold engine

My car doesn't have TPMS either. I did some research on the subject. The module place is under the ODB2 connector, ahead of the shift lever. I disassembled the plastics to access the place and there is no free connector or cable there. I gave up investigating further.

Go back to whoever installed that custom exhaust because that noise is clearly coming from the exhaust. It is the risk of installing non-standard parts.

Also if the car has been lowered simply by cutting the springs then the spring loses proper support on the cut side and can bend to the side and make noise. To do that job properly you need some custom made springs, a bit shorter but a bit stronger.
