If I may recommend: do the drive along the N59 from Ballina to Galway. Got some potholes here and there (back in 2009) but the scenery is worth it.

I did that back in 2009. We had just wonderful times in Ireland. The whole trip was one big smile and we had only one, ONE rainy day over there. Enjoy the trip!

Yes, I will be cautious. I personally have been driving a rolling-road-tuned car on daily basis for way over 100.000 miles. Hard working miles. No issues at all. No oil consumption whatsoever. Given the tuning company knows what they do, there should be some reasonable power hidden within that...

I think they're going to make it. The Megane 265 is a very capable track-focused hot hatch. With all those upgrades (I see different rims, brake discs front, michelin cup tyres) and most probably another power step up from the 265 it seems to be achievable. Go Renault!

Thanks for that update! Now it starts to make sense why my dealer told me, I got to be patient with the shifting delivery of my R as there are some "issues" to be sorted first. Oh dear, I hope it doesnt last too long and I will welcome her finally in June. :sleeping-yellow:

Yes, a tempting piece of technology that is. I wonder how it will perform on daily basis. Right now I can compare with the 1.8 TSI (turbo petrol) by VW I'm driving at the moment. That engine has a very sluggish behavior. It doesn't like to be revved and it needs tiiiiiiimmmmme to hit the red...
