After all this careful driving, it really happened today. Can't believe it took 2 weeks short of 3 years for it to happen!!! 30,000 miles done with no major hiccups.

Don't think economy mode can be switched off. What it does is actually turn off all electrical item, to ensure that their is enough power to start the engine.

Have you thought about upgrading the firmware for your system? Sorry can't help unless you have the RT6 system. Maybe the firmware update will solve connection issues!

A way of making money as they will at some point go wrong or get damaged. Mine is a phase 2 (hdi) and does not have tyre pressure sensors. Brochure for 2014 onwards has them as standard.

Does the RCZ-R have a mechanism for cooling the turbo down as mine was making a slight whining noise with the engine switched off, opened the bonnet and there was hot airflow from the turbo area left the bonnet up for probably 15+ minutes.

Were you pairing from the phone, as in enable bluetooth scan and found car, or did you get the car to scan for the phone? If the latter did you make your phone visible? Doing it the latter way means it will connect even if your phone is not bluetooth visible.

Well the brackets must have been plastic welded or something in the first place. I'll have a look at the weekend to see if I can find the brackets. Can you post picture of the bracket and sensor, to give me an idea of what they look like to be able to spot them.

So does that mean that you are not able to repair the existing brackets say with fibreglass? Did they show you where these brackets were and how they were damaged?

Take it to kwik-fit get it up on their 4 poster and see what they say, if they find a small hole they will want to replace it and you can ask where it is. They should also show you. Make sure they use a 4 post lift by reminding the about the crap jacking points.

I've arrived in Antwerp and managed to find my hotel in rush hour.

Finally managed to book the ferry over phone as couldnt login in to website, already booked hotel room in Antwerp for Friday to Monday. Can't wait.......
