Very nice Mk1 with quads Newmillar Dam 10.3.15

Spotted a really nice Mk1 in White, sporting nice quads and some kind of grill badge, parked outside the Dam Inn, Newmillar Dam, Wakefield this lunch time. We were on foot, doggy walking, my Z parked a couple of miles away. Nice car

    Hello from North Wales

Hi Sharon :text-welcomewave: you could always go down the line of Black Onyx Solstice like on mine, then you have the black wheels, but still some silver, a bit different to the standard Black wheels. Can't really help with your other questions, not really my area of expertise, in fact, I'm...

    Worrying noise from engine block!

Oil on the engine block and constant topping up sounds like a blown gasket/seal to me. Like Chris asked, if it's in warranty, straight back to the dealer. In any case, I think it's a sooner rather than later repair that's needed. :eusa-think:

    Front and Rear Parking Sensors

No Rob, not just for the picture. in fact I wasn't going to take a photo, it was my wife that said she was so impressed with my FIRST TIME parking, no not the first time I had done it, I got it in first time. Left it there for a couple of hours while we had a meal :o

    SPARE WHEEL

Baaaaa As far as I know, the reason they put 19"s on the GT's is cos of the brake Callipers. So I assume 18"s won't fit, I think I read this somewhere on the forum some time ago. One thing, when your in the Z your definitely in Wolfs clothing

Hello from the west coast of Scotland

:text-welcomewave: Car looks nice. How do you find the ride on those rims? I thought mine was pretty solid on 19's :eusa-think:

    SPARE WHEEL

You could just swap a wheel from the rear to the front, and put the spare on the back if you got a front blowout. I think that's what Joske was getting at. I don't think a wheel spacer would make any difference. I don't know of a space saver that will fit the front :eusa-think:

    Front and Rear Parking Sensors

I had to go to the red bar both ways to get it in there. They are probably set about right. Around 6 to 8 inches when the solid tone starts and the bar goes red. :eusa-think: I agree about kerbs though. Once or twice had I trusted the sensors I would have beached it. But everything...

    Temperature Reading at high revs

Speed? Perhaps the increase in speed meant the airflow cooled the engine down showing a drop on the gauge ? :eusa-think:
