Have you checked the aerial connection at the rear of the unit? I have heard of this being loose & causing poor reception. Which unit do you have installed ?

As far as I know, there is no such thing as a cylinder head motor :eusa-think: You should check the oil filler cap & see if there is any sludge type build up in it or round it, this could indicate that the cylinder head has gone. This should be accompanied by your coolant level dropping. If...
