I am in two minds about a bigger badge for the front. When you get them in I may have one off you to see what it's like, I know the latest 'fashion' is for some manufacturers to have huge emblems on the front including the new logo'd 308 but think some are way too big, 10cm height might be...
I hope OP you are not being fleeced for their pantomime....even a bunch of numpties could have searched google and ascertained that the RCZ suffers with HPFP failure and that they have the main symptoms displayed in front of them. but they seem to want to go on a needless and expensive journey...
I would not bend it. It's a brittle alloy and will snap/crack I reckon. Padded out with black gorilla tape etc looks ok you can't tell unless you get real close. If you try and ram it on the metal will damage the paint given the bend of the bonnet and badge recess area.
Mine is all good, but given how crap this part is it is when not if it breaks (geddit). I saw a post on FB and ordered a brand new one from Fish Bros on the internet for £169, which is a good price I think, given the EU sourced one's are now 230 euros without postage and Brexit Tariff charges...
OE Badge on front of MKII has two offset pins that go into holes. The metal badge fits to cover the holes so position is governed by this. Only issue I had was that the rear boot lid is curved as is the OE rear lion badge, didnt realise that and the new logo badge is not. I padded out the curve...
Very very impressed with the badges, all metal/substantial and are fantastic quality. Need to take the lions off the front and rear and see how these look. I want to keep the Lions for OE purposes; I know the boot is 'easy', not sure for the front Lion on the MKII think it has a couple of pins...
I had my V6 up for sale for the last week, a myriad of scammers, nutters, dreamers and 'what's your lowest price' calls and emails later.....decided not to sell her; not worth the hassle and having driven her a hundred odd miles this week I'm loving the Busso soundtrack all over again after...
Have to say Peugeot are very cloak and dagger when it comes to paperwork, the warranty work I have had done has never been stated in paperwork of any kind that they have been willing to give me and that's at two different Dealerships; it's on the system as I saw it on the screen over the life of...
Can't help! Pre cat regulates air/fuel so yeh. I have used Lambda's from NGK, Bosch and recently two for a TF from a 'well reviewed' on eBay that have worked a treat.
I would never ever use a car cover outside, did so year's ago and got micro scratches on the tensioned areas from movement in the wind, mould on exterior gulleys/gutters/rubbers, also car suffered from condensation issues inside. Nothing is breathable (yes some are better than others) in the...
