I believe that it is to push the back end down to help with the handling and when it goes to the top limit at 90mph helps hold the road forcing the back of the car down to give more grip

The last post I put above took less than ten minutes and it was before and after on the white RCZ... That was the first time of doing it.... If you washed your car and did this to the arches lasts longer and longer and for under a tenner.... When you wash your car and polish it do this as well...

Economy mode comes on if car hasn't been started for a week or so as car goes into this mode to save on power drain to battery as alarms take power and can start to drain the battery...... You can put on a fully charged battery New And after a week or so you will get this message.. If you're not...
You have to wash your arches as normal then rinse off with bottle water and dry off (bottle water helps stop water marks)... Now use bumper gel and trim by autoglym not tyre stuff and it will stay good for a long time I only do mine twice a year as it does last..

Yes I have used auto glym bumper gel and after you have washed your RCZ and dry it then rub this on your arches no hard rubbing then buff off with a clean micro towel and hay presto no water marks and you can see a fantastic transformation as many RCZers on here can confirm this too..... Hope...
Have you tried to clean your arches as I have previously posted on the best results...
I did have the wife's RCZ arches that had faded these where black arches so I removed them and had them spayed piano black to match the roof excellent job and was £125 each side and great job...
Both bulbs must have blown and most head light bulbs are double filaments small power surge could have caused the bulbs to blow..... If main beam flash then power is getting to the bulbs... Hope this helps you out
