Put a new battery in your key Fob then put key in the ignition turn car on but don't try to start it press one of the buttons and hold for ten seconds this resets the immobiliser turn the key back remove from car press the buttons to lock and unlock then put back in ignition car should start...
If you take off the tape and tum the power off with the keys out remove the switch and unplug the wire block then plug it back in. Then put key back in and tum on power with the doors closed reach over to see if switch working.. If this doesn't work try the same to drivers door if nothing...

Yes that's about right with the petrol thp engine. As for the diesel Hdi it's a very robust engine has timing be it that needs replacing at 100k or ten years.. I have a Hdi and so does the wife don't do a massive amount of miles but never miss a beat.. Had a full service and timing belt done at...
The petrol engine are all 1.6 and three models.
156bhp, 200bhp and the RCZ R 270bhp...and as for the diesel is 2ltr with -165 bhp. Hope this helps you out
You will have pushed the stork in when you restarted the car at the end of the stork there's a button to press this then shows different screens and you can set it to what you want...
