Hi yes you’ll still pass an mot I have a car back custom exhaust with centre resonator delete and custom back box with quad carbon fibre tips, it sounds really nice not too loud but a nice deep burble on tickover and no problems with the mot I’ve also got a remap which boosts the overall package.👍
Now tyres there’s a subject! When I bought my car it had Accelera tyres on which I ran for about a year and replaced with the same as I we’re really happy with them and I know at least two other owners running the same and they’re very happy with them too but recently some members have brought...
I used Peter Ambrose Peugeot dealer in Castleford, not far from Leeds they’re one of Peugeot UKs most trusted dealership family run for years they know their stuff and don’t rip you off great service highly recommended 👍🏻
If the cars running sweet and doesn’t sound like a diesel from cold you should be good with the timing kit as long as you use good quality oil and keep an eye on the dipstick and don’t let it drop from max. Chains should last up to 100k but failing tensioners usually put a stop to reaching those...
It’s something that has come up recently and to be honest I haven’t really noticed but I suppose if you scrutinise then yeh it’s common but I don’t think it detracts from the car at all
I had my 156 remapped about 4-5 years ago absolutely transforms the car and I’ve had no issues at all just stage 1 and extra fuel economy too! Totally win win.
And allegedly a remapped 156 is quicker off the mark than a standard 200 due to gear ratio and the difference in turbo boost.👍🏻
Different tyre tests get different results for different tyres, if your happy with what your using happy days if others are happy with what they’re using don’t slag em off! If you’ve had experience with the said tyre and you weren’t happy with them then you have a right to air your views but...
Nice one we will be staying the night before, when booking your ticket, book in with RCZUK group to be able to park with us, there is also a possibility of a parade lap for the RCZ owners to celebrate the 10 year anniversary which was last year but the even was obviously cancelled so we may do...
I’ve been told from one of the French RCZ clubs that Peugeot have now brought out a 3rd revised tensioner.
The phase 2 cars did come with a revised tensioner and slightly beefed up guides to the MK1 but these can be retro fitted to the MK1 but as stated previously regular quality oil changes is...
Have you changed the regulator too? And there is a procedure that was issued to Peugeot dealers in the Netherlands to reset the windows if problems of them not working properly you could try it too.
