Hi yeh I have a launch edition also and although I don’t do mega mileage in it it’s been very reliable, as for sensors there’s so much cheap crap out there it’s not worth putting the cheap stuff in especially the coolant level sensor go Bosch and you should be ok with that as for other sensors...

The fan coming on is a default safety setting if your car starts and runs ok it won’t hurt to take it for a run.

You could buy it and any decent exhaust fitter will be able to install easy enough, but some exhaust fabricators will custom make you a quad rear section for similar price, don’t know where your situated but Tony Banks in Leeds offers this for around £399 fitted

A few have repaired them like yourself but as you say it’s a nightmare cutting the thing open. The price of new units is ridiculous but sometimes you’ve just got to bite the bullet.

It’s a good idea but personally I think it would look rubbish and spoil the lines of the car.

£400 seems very reasonable can you let us know where you had that done may help other owners in the future, you should be good now just keep an eye on the oil level by the dipstick and keep it topped up to max also change the oil and filter every 5-6K miles and your motor will keep running sweet 👍🏻

Yes mine does the same from time to time try doing a software update if yours isn’t running the last firmware update.

I think that could work, the silver/grey colour cars seem to accept contrasting colours better than most 👍

If there were no middle courtesy light when you originally bought the car it looks like this may be your problem try disconnecting the courtesy light unit and see if the buzzing stops if it does try a secondhand light unit

A specialist will charge you in the region of £600 for your timing chain and kit replacing

I’ve heard feedback from owners that have said lowering springs made the car quit a hard ride and one guy said he couldn’t live with them, I’ve put Bilstein coilovers in mine and they’re adjustable for ride height by about 25mm on the front and 30mm on the rear they make a hell of a difference...

They could be aftermarket but I haven’t heard of any aftermarket xenon’s if one needed replacement if they’ve used aftermarket ones then they would have had to change the other so they matched obviously they must be substandard if you can tell a vast difference.

A pair of long nose pliers will do it but try and rock the light front to back and it should release.

You would have to check numbers first though
