The Economy mode message can come on at any time mine comes on when it pleases and that’s with a newish healthy battery like the Verminator said a week or so without being started can bring it on.
I paid around £750 for my alloys they do look like 20” because the spoke goes right to the edge of the wheel they were a bit of a bargain though ☺️
if you decide to go coilovers just message me and I’ll put you in touch with the guy 👍
Hi Jon, I’ve gone for aftermarket 19” alloys just to give a different look to the car although I did like the original sortilege wheels, there’s some cracking deals on alloys at the moment, now as far as comfort goes I’ve not tried 18’s so can’t comment on 19’s yes it’s a little harsh but I...
After watching Verminator at meets go round offering his arch cleaning services I’m sure once applied he buffs the remnants off maybe your leaving it on?
Not everyone looks after their cars like us enthusiasts but at 18k mileage is a rare find and on the HDI is like a new motor it’s up for a lot of money but could be worth it and either they or you can bring it back to mint and look after it as it should have been 👍

The auto is a rare beast and is it because it’s an auto that your prepared to have another look at this car? There’s loads of RCZ’s for sale out there, my advice would be go and look at a few more cars and then make your decision.
The valves and sensors will have to be removed and new valves fitted after the refurb it’s false economy to use the old rubber valves as they invariably leak once they’ve been pulled from the alloy 👍
Any smoking from exhaust after being left to tick over for a while or after being stood at traffic lights? A common issue is valve stem oil seals letting oil by this would lead to excessive oil consumption.
Aftermarket sensors are relatively cheap now and do work ok if you have a MK1 car the new sensors have to be programmed to the car MK2 are plug and play 👍
