The boot lights are the same as the puddle lights in the bottom of the doors.
It might be the light itself.
Plug it into the door if the puddle lights work to see if the lights work.
Then if they do, you know it's wiring related or...
If I remember correctly the zunsport quad exhaust system that goes behind the bumper cannot be fitted if there is a towbar.
Another option would be to cut part of the exhaust near the ironmongery to allow it to fit.
So maybe half of the pipe under (I presume) the towbar bracket is cut away and...
Probably need to take rocker cover off clean seal and sealing face.
Replace using instant gasket also, hopefully this will seal the gaps that the rocker cover seal cannot seal.

A few on here have reported oil leaking from the rocker cover seal.
One person has made a modification which has I believe stopped the leak for quite sometime.

After one of my locking bolts collar slide down the shaft and had to extracted by the dealership, I got the to replace all with normal wheel bolts.

The air suspension is a magic carpet ride, bumps and holes are not felt as the suspension compensates independently on each wheel.
