It seems to me an uglier steering wheel than the original, plus you will have a lot of useless buttons.
As far as I know, wheel spacers are illegal in Spain unless they are approved. You can be fined directly if the police discover them and they are not approved in the vehicle's technical sheet.
A car with very little mileage, strictly original, better left-hand drive since it has more market... and then keep it in a garage for 20 years.
Maybe then you can ask for 50k
As far as I know, there are still no approved LED bulbs on the market to replace halogen ones,
The car will not pass the mandatory technical inspection with these bulbs, only the original bulbs can be installed
Perhaps the reflectors are dirty or the bulbs are very old.
In the EU countries it seems they are sold at a higher price than in the UK, here in Spain it can be worth between 12 and 14K euros... but here nobody wants right-hand drive cars
Well, put a tube that throws it to the ground, as cars had 60 years ago, but that was prohibited.
Also when stopping the car, the tube will drop some oil on the ground.
If they discover the modfication in the mandatory technical review, you will not pass it
All combustion engines conduct the...
I think that this is not going to work, what is going to be contaminated is the engine cavity.
All engines discharge the gases from the crankcase to the intake, also in turbocharged engines it can also happen that some oil is lost in the turbo and reaches the intake manifold.
Where will the oily gases go? to a filter?
That filter will get dirty very quickly and it will stain everything nearby.
The gases are led to the intake to avoid contamination if they go directly to the atmosphere.
How much distance do you travel in those 2-3 weeks?
Anything approaching or exceeding 1 liter per 1000 km is highly excessive and may fail the emissions test.
If the spark plugs are removed it would be good to do a compression test of each cylinder.
If the smoke comes out when accelerating after idling, the problem is with the valve seals or the piston rings.
This occurs because the vacuum in the intake manifold and cylinder is highest at idle and this can suck oil which is then expelled on acceleration.
I don't think the problem is on...
For less than €10 you can buy an ODBII ELM327 connector and with a free app on your mobile phone you can see that pressure too. Also view and clear default codes
If the car has good power, the turbo does not leak oil or make noise, it will surely be in good condition. The wastegate too.
Ask your friend if his device can read the pressure in the intake manifold.
Drive a bit with him and if the pressure rises to 0.6 bar when accelerating then nothing...
