Definitely won't be cheap, unless you know someone.
Think I am in the minority, I actually prefer the look of the OEM discs to anything with bells, even though there probably more practical, also cost wise I don't think the price is too bad for the OEM discs given what they are quality wise.
Rightly so, the R really is that special drive for me, now back, am looking forward to the 5 am drives when the roads are quit for maximum enjoyment.
Am sure though the Skoda will be a good drive for every day.
Tell me about it with front brakes, only just got mine back from Peugeot, the caliper situation has been a nightmare to sort with the dealer, waiting times have been stupid and my calipers had to come from different sources, hence one at a time, therefore although I have new calipers the paint...
I am certainly looking forward to feeling the difference in braking, I wouldn’t describe it bad before, but for a performance calliper not right.
I may just swap out the pistons in the winter when it’s in the garage and sorn.
Very interesting, those callipers look awful, reading up on Alcon they supply their brakes to some very impressive marques.
I ran APs on my last car and they needed a lot of TLC to keep in top condition, I never washed them with the car along with the alloys, it was wheels of every 2 months and...
Yes New callipers approved, just arrived at the dealer for fitting from France, they will be fitted this week along with the new disc and pads as supplied by me, Peugeot has had my car for over 2 weeks, looking forward to getting it back so I can complete the brake refresh, doing the rears...
Very true about the value I agree, there is also though the issue with the R with the front brakes, callipers that seize is a big issue, I think also this is not mileage related unless the car is dry stored, this could be having an effect on prices given what you may have to spend.
Peugeot have...
Very true with the brakes, just now waiting for my calipers to be replaced by Peugeot under warranty, both sides seized on the inner side.
Once done I can complete my brake refresh which I always expected to do, as said think you do need deep pockets with the R but to me no more than any other...
Hi can anyone provide a link for the above, I am going to be changing a couple of tyres soon so it makes sense to me to change the valve stem and sensors, there seems to be a wide range out there, not sure which is best.
My car is a 2015 RCZ R.
I am still trying to get over the life of the timing chain on our cars, seems even if you over service it doesn’t make a difference, could it be with the R it’s a high revving engine generally, due to the gearbox ratios, I have noticed when motorway cruising revs are much higher than anything...
Good luck with your search for a bike, hope you find what your looking for, also agree with your prediction with the R.
There of course some people who completely disagree.
That would be very sad indeed, but there are a lot of scammers out there, I have had first hand experience of this over the last couple of days, sometimes it’s not possible to get the information you want, especially when dealing with some dealers.
When buying my R last year the owner wasn’t...
