Normally 80to120 km acceleration tests are done in the highest gear.All the petrol RCZ have plus minus the same gear ratio's. 3000 rmp at 120km is way to high. Look at other modern very fast hatch backs like for example the Renault Megane rs they are fast but they don't run at those rpm's

But these 80 to 120 km are done in the highest gear in case of the SLK that is the 7th or overdrive. So you can't compare really. RCZ r don't have An overdrive.

:D These are the standard values of the 1.8 petrol SLK250

I can hope so their is a 50 bhp difference. But even with a difference of 50 bhp and it being much heavier (1500kg) it still goes from 0-100km in 6,5 sec and it has a top speed of 245km. That it's a only 0,6 sec slower than the R with 50bp less and ca 300 kg more.

How do you explain that my wife SLK250 with "only" 210 bhp goes from 0-100 in 6.5 sec that only 0,6 sec slower then the RCZ R. It's even 1 full second faster then the THP200. With the short gears ratio of the R it's even very difficult to use 270 bhp that are avaible when you accelarate from...

We only have one rule to join the meeting and that's that you need to come in a RCZ :D But it can't be to difficult to buy one ;)
