Find yourself an really good mechanic. Sometimes these cars throw up error codes that can lead you off in the wrong direction leading to lots of wasted time and money.

There's 2 black R's for sale in Oz at the moment. This one https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2014-peugeot-rcz-r-manual-my14/OAG-AD-19399008/?Cr=0 has done 10,000 klm and asking 70,000 AUD. Wow. It will struggle to sell it for that price since that was what they were brand new.

If you can afford to buy the R version (or even find one for sale. They're quite rare) you won't regret it. BTW that's mine in the profile pic.

I've mentioned this technique on here and the RCZ FB group but no-one has reported their results yet.

It's only 2 steps. 1/ remove stains with polish compound. 2/ wipe with Aerospace 303 or equivalent. Step one could take quite some time and elbow grease. Be patient. Step 2 takes 30 seconds.

If you are taking it to the USA you might be better off getting a left hand drive.

The mild compound I used was Meguiars Ultimate Compound. It's a good product. It's idiot proof on paint as well with an orbital polisher and foam pads.

Painting is no good if you want to keep the car original though. I love the satin finish of the plastic arches.
