It's not a case of doing things cheaply, it's getting value for money and getting the job done correctly.
I have marked up my spark plugs & coil packs with the cylinder number and reg, to make sure they changed them and I also asked for them back (to use next year)! Also marked up the air...
Re: Appreciating depreciation
Three to four grand cheaper than a TT.
I thought the original price of the RCZ was 3 to 4 grand cheaper than the TT in the first place.
Just cos a manufacturers build hundreds of thousands of TTs doesn't mean they are as better than a low production numbered...
Yes the load index needs to be the same as supplied from the manufacturer or higher.
For the RCZ's they have a load index of 96, the RCZ-R has 92.
Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres have 92 loading and therefore not suitable for the RCZ, only suitable for the RCZ-R.
A lot of tyre places are not aware...
Although the bulbs are fitted the are surplus, as the DRL's are used as side lights.
When you activate the side light, the DRL's reduce to about 50% (same when headlight come one also).
If using the menus you deactivate the DRL's the side lights may activate.

My RCZ-R is only just over 2 years old. I've just done a run to Scotland (400 miles), locked up the car over night, came to it this morning and opened the boot once.
Came back to it and went to start it economy mode came up.
This mode is to allow the engine to start by shutting down all...
Other than making sure no dirt/moisture is on contacts of connecrors, can't think of anything else unless the sensor has been allowed to move.

This is the Zunsport quad exhaust.
The buffer between this and the tail pipes from the back box are just a wire wool sock.
When I made mine the wire wool sock were spot welded to the original tail pipe which had to be shortened. I cut off the spot welds and re - used the socks.
