It’s not a special edition or series it’s just a MK1 GT with the vision pack (xenon headlights) and media system.
There were just so many options from new some cars came fully loaded which included genuine leather dash where most have the faux dashboard.
Sorry blondie the club stand is booked so we can’t add anymore cars I’m afraid.
Keep a look out for more meets and events by RCZ UK fb group, we’re off to Nottingham this Sunday to the Euro car only meet at the Griffin’s head pub should be a good one 👍
A owner who had this same issue contacted me and sent me this photo of what he had done to get his car running a bit heath robinson but it worked I’m not sure what that bridge is doing possibly bypassing the battery control module?
It sounds like you’ve missed something somewhere if the old thermostat housing is now doing the same it’s got to be something you’ve done maybe forgot a connector?
Yeh the original is stainless 😁 personally I would go for a custom back section rather than the Ulter then you can choose tips and it will be stainless and you can customise the sound there’s not going to be much difference in price between the two.
There does seem to be a common problem with broken springs I see it coming up quite often throughout the RCZ groups but dampers never seem to get a mention I’ve just bought a bilstein coilover kit that to be honest wasn’t that expensive they’re bilstein originally so they should know the car...
There’s quite a few on the market and to be fair there’s not many owners running them but really should it’s something I’ve been looking into and I do like the forge one but it’s quite costly for an ally Tank and a couple of silicone hoses at around £300!
Some of the petrols tend to use oil and others don’t it’s something you have to keep an eye on and clean oil is the only way to keep these baby’s running sweet.
They do when they can’t quote for repairs because some parts just aren’t available. I’ve heard there’s no new front bumpers and I’ve heard the French have no rear windows 😱
Basically it’s an inherent design fault in the PSA engine originally it were down to the poor tensioner they are now onto the 3rd revision, the plastic guides were also a problem but these have been beefed up a little, once the original kit has been changed if you make sure the oil is changed...
I have this feature on my launch edition 156, this has come up for discussion before and I were led to believe the 200 didn’t have the feature but as you’ve said some 200 owners say they’ve got it so a little confusing, if you haven’t got it I don’t think you could program it in 🤔
Hi and welcome 👋 firstly don’t get panicked by all the negativity regarding the 156 version if looked after you should hopefully be trouble free, the main thing with these engines is to keep the oil clean so regular oil and filter changes every 5K max and I would recommend only using Total ineo...
Have you made sure the rear boot switch isn’t stuck in, they have been known to stick if pressed on just one side rather than the middle and it causes all sorts of havoc with the central locking it happened to me once just make sure by pressing the rubber switch all the way along
Hi and welcome there have been a few Irish owners in the forum but I’m not sure how many are still here, there have been a few guys recently purchasing from Ireland and having them sent over to the mainland I did meet one Irish owner who about 7 years ago made the trip over to attend the annual...
