Well there you go... I ordered the CE0536 (which has the external battery compartment) when I needed the CE0523. Wasn't obvious to me at ordering, but if this helps anybody else making the same mistake then at least it was useful.
Correct one re-ordered, so thanks for the help to all.
Did you have any problems with the fob change at all verminator?
I changed mine last week. The electronics (PCB) didnt seem to fit in properly, so had to hack bits of plastic off the fob internals, and even now it still slips around inside.
The key cutting is impressive though considering they...
I have always had what I presumed was clutch slip whenever I drove spirited. I have a THP200 and its on a 15 plate (owned for 2 years), and it has always done it. Just thought it was what these did? Only happens when putting down high revs, and releasing the clutch (standing start or gear changing).
If you are replacing the whole mirror with the loom/connector, then you will have to remove the door card.
disconnect "a", and remove grommet "b"
Remove side repeater cover "1"
remove bolts "2" and mirror "3"
cable loom (refit)
I forgot to mention.
I didnt disconnect the battery, just pulled the socket off the headlamp. After replacing the 1st bulb I noticed the spoiler had fully activated.
pressing the button on the console didnt retract it properly either. It seemed like it had got stuck.
I applied some manual force...
I have recently changed my headlamp bulbs due to one blowing.
looked at the brighter type bulbs but thought it wasnt for me, so ended up getting standard Bosch Purelight H7's.
Don't know if the next pic will help anyone, but it shows what you have to work with...
I managed to remove the...
Hi Dale,
I can't really compare the resolution to anything, but it seems OK to me.
I didnt go the DAB route either.
The radio cuts out on the odd occasion when in dips/valleys but overall seems good.
There is a thread here on economy stats http://www.peugeotrczforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=12473 too.
I posted a pic of my mpg log lower down in that thread. Last year was averaging around 40mpg in THP200.
I had a similar problem when I upgraded to a double Din head unit.
My problem was the ISO harness connector at the back of the head unit though.
Similar to Anders55 problem, it was the pin connections in the block.
Not saying that is where your problem is, but if you have to do some routing...
I seem to remember something about there being one agent that supplies to each country. Could be wrong, but I got mine from eBay, item number 333151384607. They do both types if you want the US one.
Cheers
Well wrapping was going to be around £100-£150 from the one quote I got, and this can of vinyl was £9.99 delivered, so a no brainer really.
The masking (prep) takes most of the time. I would say you would need about 1-2 hours in total. I managed 3 coats with one can, though I think 5 coats is...
Well, I have finally managed to fix the silver arches problem once and for all.
After DKZ5745 & 2retro mentioned Plasti dip in the "Replacing mk 1 front end badge" thread, I went down the rabbit hole!
I didnt used plasti dip though, but their European counterpart that is supposed to be a...
I have had a quick look at warranties but was put off by Peugeot as it seems to read on their website that you can only extend the warranty if it is still within it's Peugeot warranty, or less than 3 years old.
Did you extend the warranty from new Plec, or was your car 2nd hand?
Just tried the Autosol anodised aluminium polish and it didn't work in my situation.
I have used Autosol metal polish on other products before but this was totally different. It seems to be more of a gel that you leave on and then wipe off with a damp cloth (no rubbing/buffing).
It looked good...
