The price is €230, about 200 quid i guess, (I live in Germany, a consequence of a military career), but I would prefer it if it was all done and set up in the car. I will see how easy it is to get the ECU out and then decide. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone had fitted a manual boost controller to their RCZ, (if it is actually possible)? If so, how easy was it and was it worthwhile?

I will make inquiries. I have also heard about a process where they run the engine with a gas which is supposed to do something along those lines. I have a mate who works for Liqui Moly, he might know someone who does that.

I assume this involves removal of the head?

I just removed mine again and opened it up and there is no oil in it, although I don't think that it should have. There is a certain amount of aluminium dust though so there has definitely been some chaffing going on in there. If the new one doesn't arrive today, I might just try some silicone...

2011 200THP 90,000 miles. I have a feeling that the turbo isn't providing full boost, so today I removed and checked the recirculation valve. It appears to be fine, but the spring seemed rather weak. My initial suspicions are that the spring has weakened over the years and it could be opening...

I used an open end spanner to tighten the high pressure line, using the trusted SWAG method. It didn't leak so I figured it was all good. No issues since then.
