    Remap

I will see if I can find someone like that. I am none to happy about the fact that I have to remove the ECU. When my friend said about this chap he knows, it all sounded very professional. He would remap it and then test it and adjust things to get the optimum performance and drivability out of...

    Remap

The price is €230, about 200 quid i guess, (I live in Germany, a consequence of a military career), but I would prefer it if it was all done and set up in the car. I will see how easy it is to get the ECU out and then decide. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

    Remap

But do you know if I have to remove the ECU or not?

    Remap

Hi all, I spoke to a friend who knows someone who could remap my 200THP. I asked him to find out how much and what the gains would be. The price seems reasonable and the gain would be about 30bhp, but the guy says that he can't do it via the OBD port on the car, (it is a Peugeot thing...

    Manual boost controller.

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone had fitted a manual boost controller to their RCZ, (if it is actually possible)? If so, how easy was it and was it worthwhile?

    200 THP Turbo recirculation valve.

I will make inquiries. I have also heard about a process where they run the engine with a gas which is supposed to do something along those lines. I have a mate who works for Liqui Moly, he might know someone who does that.

    200 THP Turbo recirculation valve.

I assume this involves removal of the head?

    200 THP Turbo recirculation valve.

I just removed mine again and opened it up and there is no oil in it, although I don't think that it should have. There is a certain amount of aluminium dust though so there has definitely been some chaffing going on in there. If the new one doesn't arrive today, I might just try some silicone...

    200 THP Turbo recirculation valve.

That is indeed very interesting. I have ordered a new one already as I think that the old one is the original and is probably on its last legs. But it is certainly something worth noting for the future, thank you.

    200 THP Turbo recirculation valve.

Well, if replacing my diverter valve does indeed restore the power that I believe is lacking, then I definitely need to find somewhere that can do this for mine as well. Thank you for your time and helpful advice.

    200 THP Turbo recirculation valve.

May I ask how much the remap was and how much the gains were?

    200 THP Turbo recirculation valve.

Interesting, I will certainly give one of those serious consideration. Was there a noticeable improvement?

    200 THP Turbo recirculation valve.

2011 200THP 90,000 miles. I have a feeling that the turbo isn't providing full boost, so today I removed and checked the recirculation valve. It appears to be fine, but the spring seemed rather weak. My initial suspicions are that the spring has weakened over the years and it could be opening...

Replacing the HPFP - advice needed

I used an open end spanner to tighten the high pressure line, using the trusted SWAG method. It didn't leak so I figured it was all good. No issues since then.

Replacing the HPFP - advice needed

I recently changed mine, also on a 200 THP and it was very easy to do. Getting the old one out was a bit of a faff, but the new one took about 5 mins to fit. The postman delivered it and 15 mins later, I was out on a test drive, (I had already stripped it down a few days before). I did not...
