Just stuck it in fourth and did 20 miles at 3500 revs, hopefully that's done it

Has a blast every day, 45 miles down the M5 and back.

On idle if I blip the throttle I'm getting a puff of dark smoke on my diesel, is this normal ? Doesn't seem to smoke if I'm driving normally or on tick over. Done 31000 miles just been serviced .

Thanks for the advice all. It was a choice between 2 MK11 an a MK1, looking at the mot history the only one to pass every mot without fault or advisory is the MK1, its also a looker in my opinion. If all goes to plan it will be at my home Sunday pm and a pic will be posted. :D
