Since owning the RCZ with it's Prince engine, I've noticed Companies offering swap kits for the Mini Cooper using Honda K20/K24 units.
Has anyone done, or considered this swap on their RCZ?

There’s a few things I keep reading about engine upgrades, but then don’t. It’s the notifying the insurance, reports etc that put me off, yeah I know induction kits fitted, remaps etc all get done all the time without being insured properly. I’ve done a few tweaks to what is existing to get some little gains with everything still looking as per factory.

Just out of interest, why the Honda k20/24?

From what I've read it's been done several times in Minis, with specialist Companies providing a full menu of parts and information. I'm guessing people choose it to take advantage of the large amount of tuning options for these engines and gain some 'reliability'. You can't deny Hondas quality control. I'm not considering it myself but thought it was an interesting concept.
