I just dont get it...arent these cars special / exclusive/ beautiful enough????

Unfortunately it appears to reflect the complete complacency shown toward this sooo underrated beauty - even when owned, drivers just dont seem to appreciate them...

Out of 20 times flashing and waving (passively in obvious friendly manner), 19 times ignored......................

She gets more appreciation simply parked up, ...from the general public

Well I think it's down to the driver's just using there RCZs and a general car and not the car they are actually driving and know what a special car they actually have and if like me who started on two wheels they would know what common courtesy they would have for other car drivers of the same model what a shame other RCZ owners don't appreciate what they have and what they are driving.

i think the fact that u r the only one to respond on this subject....speaks volumes, unfortunately - these Are special cars!

Personally, for a top Granturismo Spec, I would have loved an exciting 'soulful' 300bhp v6 (and ideally 4wd with flappy paddle option, active Cruise) and suspension better able to absorb the UK cartrack potholes - removable electro tinting glass targa roof panel would also have elevated it to something very special indeed - thats about it, the foundation is special enough.....more than enough in styling alone to deserve far better appreciation :)

Sub £3k valuation is Nuts!! - These cars will skyrocket in value in the longterm, relatively speaking.

Modest retromodding makes sense too, due to volume and crazy under valuation. I would be open to affordable EV conversions, and as mentioned, exciting sounding modest power V6 versions.......ok, would love the the varitint glass targa panel too :)

Donor car £2k
Tested used / recon V6 conversion £6k
Targa Panel £2k
Suspension tuning £3k

Unique GT touring version of RC: £13 - 15k........

Now This would attract a cult following :)

Too antique to do this myself, now in seventies and nasty arthritis (on limits just getting in and out, however was determined to get one and save 3 yrs to get mine)

Running mine at the budget end presently (HDi) and with rerstraint can achieve over 700 miles per tank, local country lane driving :)

Ps what would a quad piped mid mounted V8 variant have been like???!!!

I love my RC :)

Live long and prosper! :)

I rarely see another over here, and usually it’s to far behind me too quick to wave 🤭, but really there just seems to be none about, er when I am anyway.

Hi @Griffy, sorry for the late reply, I don’t get on here as often as I would like.
I’ve had my 200GT for almost 13 years now, and I have always acknowledged any other Z I’ve encountered on my travels.
I don’t get out much in my Z any more, last mileage between MOT’s was @ 320, and this time is likely to be less. Spend more time washing/polishing it than actually driving it.
I still love the car to bits, and have no intention of getting rid, even though the cost per mile is getting quite prohibitive MOT/TAX/INSURANCE.
The car still gets lots of attention when I’m out, and I still think it’s one of the best looking cars on the road.
To me, it will always be a special car.
