Turbo

Just removed the turbo on 1-6 THP 150 to sort out some oil leaks. Looking at the turbo the I.D. plate has 2010 date , so assume this is the original part. The shaft has slight side to side movement but spins freely. If I were to replace the turbo are there any recommendations that wouldn't involve selling a kidney to fund it.
Lots available on ebay but does anyone have any experience of these? Any advice welcomed.

Not saying that turbos from eBay are all bad, but you might be better to find a local(ish) respected turbo refurb company. It may work out cheaper in the end as it may only need a resell or something straightforward.
Whatever route you do go down, be sure to put a new turbo feed pipe on when refitting. The original is a crimped/swagged seal and once disturbed is almost certainly guaranteed to leak, as you already have the turbo off you’ll know what a pig it would be if you used the old feed, it leaks, and you have to strip it down again.

The original oil feed pipe was indeed leaking, so I've purchased a new braided hose replacement, hopefully this will sort 'one' of the numerous oil leaks...

Go all in on the top and front, valve cover, filter housing to block gaskets as well as the pre mentioned feed pipe.

Check the pipe on the right hand end of the valve cover too, from pcv to cold turbo pipe, tends to stretch with heat cycles and allow a wee bit of a weep which can look like an oil leak on top of the valve cover and/or down the back by the pump. I know yours is the 200 and the below is 156, but same idea.
