50.000 Klm dropped the gear box oil it looked like the watery gravy you used to get in a greasy spoon café years ago & judging from the foam slicks floating on the top of it after standing in the drain tray for over an hour it looked well & truly goosed plus there was a ring of filings & a little sludge around the plug
Which oil is best suited for durability I settled for this one because it has good low temp performance good for cold starting & thermal stability + severe usage conditions
APGL-4 Approved PSA Peugeot Citroen-B71 2330
The pros are gear changes appear better from a cold start & overall engine/ G-box motion appears smoother
The cons will it last the life of the box?

I used this gadget had one for years done a few boxes this way the curved pipe just hooks into the filler hole I held it with my fingers to make sure then keep pumping it will eventually completely empty itself by a vacuum so no oil left in the bottle took about 15 mins overall its easy mate my box used to whine its head off sometimes but now its as silent as a stiff in a coffin ;)

It’s gotta be worth doing then , doubt mine has ever been done
Yep its definitely a no brainer what caught my eye as well as the small filings stuck on the plug was a ring of sludge which appears to suggest shite in the oil & is not a good omen in any g/box I wouldn't trust the notion either that Peugeot are putting out that the box has lifetime lubrication lifespan anyhow are you still selling the monster?
