Do you have a code reader & has the car had a new HPF pump? May be the plugs or coil packs but you can get fuel starvation at increased acceleration due to the pump failing which is a generic common fault on all RCZ variants
The fan has been triggered because the ECU has detected the fault to stop the engine overheating & causing further damage

Hi Pedro. No Im waiting for some body to plug it it. no it’s not had a Hpf pump what’s that. I’m hoping it’s the coil pack. Seems to be costing me a lot of money lately. Already had timing chain done. An other bits an bobs.

Sorry about your woes but don't despair they can go wrong but once all the generic issues are fixed not a lot goes wrong the HPF pump delivers the fuel to the engine they are known to be problematic just before they begin to fail & the faults can be as you describe but it may be plugs or coils it a process of elimination with your issue fingers crossed it a easy fix
Good luck & let us know how you get on

I guess you could say I'm a DIYer with over 40 yrs of fixing all makes of cars I have the 200GT done some work on it new Battery /timing chain tensioner/ water pump discs & brakes HPF pump!! plus a few sensors but It does get the Oil changed at 3.500-4000 because these engines can suffer all manner of mechanical issues through poor servicing
You need the scanner plugged up then it will show if its fuel or perhaps ignition issues ie Plugs/coil packs
The code P0087 is triggered when there is fuel system issues (pump) so may give you a clue why its juddering?
Good luck hopefully it could be only a minor glitch ;)

I guess you could say I'm a DIYer with over 4o yrs of fixing all makes of cars I have had the 200GT since 2017 mileage was 32.563 & all I have done to it is change the HPF pump/ water pump/ timing tensioner/maf sensor& brakes & discs all round + new battery its been fully serviced & now gets an Oil change every 3.500=4000 Klms as these engines are known to suffer all manner of issues from poor oil services
The fuel pump can be refurbished by a guy on ebay for around £ 147 but if your desperate you may have to bite the bullet & buy a new one they can retail around £400 mine was £450 but I didn't know mike was around at that time I needed one
I’ve had mine 3 years. Now decideing to sell it get this done. I’ve g ad timing belt changed he changed water pump also. Get oil changed often two. just had 4 new Tyres break discs two. And a spring. But there guess general things. But. This is the most I’ve ever put into a car. I’ve had fiesta which needed nothing. Then this rcz starting costing so think it be going up for sale. Shame as it’s a lovely car. I’m hoping it’s nothing serious

Go on ebay type in "1.6 Turbo high pressure fuel pump. Mini cooper, Peugeot RCZ. repair service" this will bring up mike's listing page & as for the car you've spent all the money on it so why sell these are just the generic faults every owner goes through during ownership you could do worse with all the crap floating around out there & your driving one of the most iconic cars on the road in the UK today 😊

You can contact him first or pay for the pump refurb & post it to him he then refurbishes it & sends it back all done ready for refitting then the car should run perfect

What grade of fuel are you using? only put 99ron in the tank aka Shell V Power etc maybe it was dirt in the fuel rail ?
if it starts again it could be the pump as mine drove up to 47 mph then the pressure started to drop off until I hit the peddle up to around the 80 mark & it went OK but I had the scanner plugged in whilst driving the car & my son was reading off the data from a live fuel trims graph so I knew what it was going on as the fuel rail pressure started to drop off under load the pump couldn't provide the correct amount of fuel thus it was juddering & fan blowing its head off just like yours
