Probably just be less comfortable. I think the 18s are 235 45, whereas 19s are 235 40.
So same contact patch, just less sidewall. Stock tyre sizes obviously.

Probably more expensive tyres too.

I swapped mine to 19's. Didn't notice much of a difference in ride quality at all to be honest. 19's fill the arches perfectly though and just look right so I would recommend it. 👍

As for the price of the tyres it's like all tyres the price vary depending on the brand. I have 19" Alloys and I purchased same tyres that was on the car when I got it.. Tyre's only not fitted but delivered to the door at a cost of £212 for set of four....

I always think when it comes to wheels, the bigger the better (as far as looks go anyway). I have 19’s on my RCZ & 20’s on my Range Rover. I do think the ride quality is affected to a degree, but this (imho) is outweighed by the way the car looks.
Handling wise, I don’t think there is a great deal of difference, the RCZ drives like it’s on rails anyway.

If you don't mind me asking.

I waited until I was having my wheels re-cut & got them to put me 2 new tyres on free at the same time 👍

I buy mine from Black Circles.com but I get Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S ........

As DKZ said he uses black circle these are part of asda and if you buy the tyres you can pick a tyre fitter fit them near to you at a small cost........ The tyre supplier I use www.oponeo.co.uk also offers this service...... But as my son is a car mechanic for do I dare say it what the heck Audi... He fits them for me. 😂

Blackcircles currently have 15% off Michelin tyres. It works out £160 for a Pilot 4S fitted. I've ordered for fitting later next week.

I fitted Goodyear AS2, but they weren't as good as the Continentals that were on the car when I bought it. They haven't lasted long either.

I'm looking forward to trying to car with the 4S.

Got the tyres fitted yesterday and clocked up a few miles. I got the tyres fitted for the MOT last year, so I've only managed about 6000 miles out of the fronts.

The Continentals that were on the car when I bought it were extra load. The Goodyears I fitted were the normal 92 load rating. The 4s are back to 96 load rating. I definitely think the stiffer tyre makes the car steer better.

Grip levels are through the roof. Comparing worn tyres to new tyres is never fair, but the Goodyears were never this good. I also think the winter made the rubber go off. I was getting axle/steering crabbing as the rubber hardened.

The more I drive the more I'm impressed with the 4s.

The way they pull the car out of corners under hard acceleration is way beyond the Goodyears AS2 or Continentals.

They've taken the car up a level.
