Windscreen wipers

Hi,
I've noticed that my windscreen wipers move at odd times, eg. When unlocking the doors with the remote. I guess this is not normal behavior?
Yesterday they stopped working for a while but recovered.
Any thoughts appreciated!

Which model year engine etc do you have.
Might have something to do with the boot locking device if it has water ingress, search on here as the person had windows opening etc.
