what is this hose?

Hi,
Please can you help me identify a part.
it is number 3 on the graphic below. It is a hose that connects to the air intake turbo hose. I have an aftermarket air intake turbo hose and the the connection to this part is not good.

Does that go to the purge canister solenoid valve ?
